The Town Board voted April 22 to permit the Tuxedo Park Library to circulate a petition for a proposition to increase the Town Board’s budgetary allocation for the library. Supervisor Dave McMillen moved the measure and Councilmember Adam Eirand seconded; the resolution passed 5 Ayes, 0 Nays.
Separately, the Board approved a temporary sign permit allowing the library to display 24-by-36 promotional signs at various locations in Town (excluding intersections with State Route 17) to advertise the Memorial Day Parade and Picnic. The permit was approved with the same 5–0 vote. The Board described the sign permit and petition circulation as administrative approvals to support upcoming library programming and fundraising.
