ESC Region 11 leads trustee-candidate forum as five community members attend

Carey Carter, Field Service Agent with ESC Region 11, conducted a Trustee Roles and Services Overview for community members interested in pursuing candidacy for the Mineral Wells ISD Board of Trustees in the May election. The session took place Oct. 27 in the District Services Complex boardroom, and a total of five community members were in attendance.
Following the presentation, Carter facilitated a question-and-answer session during which board members and Superintendent David Tarver and Assistant Superintendent Natalie Griffin addressed attendees and provided additional insight on key topics related to board service and governance. The meeting record notes the presentation and Q&A occurred during the open session and that no one registered for public comment at the meeting. The minutes are dated with an approval date of Nov. 10, 2025.
