EDC: TxDOT meeting on welcome sign planned; fence staining, lighting and cameras approved for city lot

During the March 10 meeting, councilmembers reporting for the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) said they continue to work with TxDOT on requirements for a Coffee City welcome sign. A TxDOT representative is expected to attend a future meeting to explain sign requirements.
EDC members said they selected Blue Line Fence to stain the fence surrounding the lot and approved adding lighting and several security cameras on the property. Councilmembers Carrie Ousley and Ollie Harmon delivered the report; the EDC director, Vicki Castleberry, was not present.
