Vicki Castleberry gave the Economic Development Corporation report at the Jan. 13 meeting, saying the EDC adjusted its administrative fee in the budget by $0.09 and had installed and locked gates on the lot. The EDC said it was considering solar lights and adding two cameras and that a fire-department event funding request was tabled until additional details are provided.
Castleberry also said the EDC continues to work with the Texas Department of Transportation on welcome signage requirements; no final funding decision for signs was recorded in the minutes.
