During the public-comment portion of the April 7 meeting, residents raised safety and permitting concerns. Darlene Pettit of 718 Pine said a generator-platform installation request had been denied but that she had "took info to the city and asked questions and got answers she needed." Meri Clooney of 930 Elm urged people to call police about issues at Deep Hole Park and raised concerns about Sundial Park parking. David Jones of 727 Pine thanked Mayor Randy Chronister and Mayor Pro Tem Amanda Fenwick for progress on the traffic-signal situation.
Council did not take action on the items raised during public comment but recorded the concerns in the meeting minutes. Staff may follow up on permitting questions and park issues as appropriate; specific remedies or timelines were not announced at the meeting.
