Council approves amended $32,404 contract to replace Club House ramp
Summary
Council authorized replacement of the Club House wooden and concrete ramp and handrails and amended the motion to reflect the contractor invoice of $32,404, rather than the $30,500 placeholder on the agenda. Staff said the lower figure had been used when the agenda was posted because the exact invoice was not available.

The Clear Lake Shores City Council approved replacement of the Club House ramp and handrails and amended the original amount listed on the agenda to reflect the contractor's invoice. The agenda item listed a not-to-exceed amount of $30,500, but City Administrator Mike Kramm told the council the invoice showed $32,404. Councilman Jeff Terrell moved to amend the motion to $32,404; Mayor Pro Tem Amanda Fenwick seconded. The council voted unanimously to approve the amended amount.
City Administrator Mike Kramm explained the difference in amounts to the council, noting the $30,500 figure on the agenda was used as a placeholder because the exact invoice was not available when the agenda was posted. The approved action directs staff to finalize the contract and proceed with the ramp replacement work.
