Josh Taylor, the city's sewer operator, briefed the council on system operations and equipment issues. "The plant operated at 20 percent capacity for the month of March and flowed an average of .041 MGD," Taylor reported, and he said March rainfall totaled 4.25 inches. He told council that the generator at Lift Station 1 is still not working while parts are awaited, that Pump #1 burned up and a replacement has been ordered from 5B Controls, and that Lift Station 2's generator is operational.
Taylor also said Allied de-ragged the onsite lift station pumps and that there were "No sampling issues for February." Council did not vote on capital repair funding during this meeting; the status report was informational.
