Village Clerk Melody Wymore reported that the village cleanup day held the previous Saturday filled all four dumpsters in roughly two hours. The board had ordered three dumpsters in advance and requested a fourth on the morning of the event to meet demand.
A resident thanked the board and Public Works for providing the dumpsters; Chairman Terry Bradich said the fall cleanup will be handled differently: the village plans to require an officer to check IDs at the dumpsters to confirm residency, establish one‑way entry and exit, and remove dumpsters the same day if they fill early.
Trustees praised Public Works for their work and discussed operational changes to prevent overflow and ensure resources go to village residents.
