Trustee Jett publicly recognized Chairman Terry Bradich "for all his substantial volunteer work, training public works, and hands-on property cleanup throughout the village," saying that citizen criticism of public works had been hurtful. Trustee Barrera added that in his years on the board he had not worked with a chairman as hands-on as Bradich; the board asked that recognition be included in the minutes. Chairman Bradich thanked the board for the acknowledgement.
Public works also said the walkway at the park will be resealed and taped off in sections, equipment and materials have been secured for upcoming tasks, and the Park Board supplied three free loads of dirt for drainage improvements with additional loads required to fully resolve the area.
