Heritage Pines CDD adopts proposed FY2026 budget, schedules July public hearing

The Heritage Pines Community Development District board on April 15 adopted Resolution 2025-03 approving a proposed operations and maintenance budget for fiscal year 2025/2026 and set a public hearing for July 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Heritage Pines Country Club Meeting Room.
District Manager Chuck Adams reviewed the draft budget and said the net effect compared with Fiscal Year 2025 is a reduction of approximately $4,000 and that the O&M assessment is projected to decrease by $2.88 per unit year-over-year. The board voted unanimously to adopt the resolution; the motion was made by Arthur Rhodes and seconded by Carol Vaughan.
Adams said revenue is 94% collected for the current period and that interest earned on investment accounts was not yet reflected in the statements; he said he will email the board when those statements are posted. The board directed staff to file the required public-notice materials for the July hearing and to circulate the proposed budget as required by Florida law.
