District Manager Chuck Adams, acting as a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Arthur Rhodes (Seat 1), Stephen Putman (Seat 2) and Michael Walsh (Seat 3) at the Heritage Pines Community Development District meeting on Dec. 10, 2024. Adams provided guidance on required filings and training for elected supervisors.
Adams told the board that current and incumbent members must "complete four hours of ethics training by the December 31, 2024; this requirement will not apply to Mr. Putman until 2025," and reviewed electronic filing of Form 1 with the Commission on Ethics. He also explained the Sunshine Law prohibition on discussing CDD business outside noticed public meetings and summarized Form 8B conflict rules. The district scheduled a workshop for Feb. 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. to orient newly seated supervisors.
