Board President Charlotte Kneupper called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m.; the minutes record that Mrs. Judkins moved to appoint Stransky and Mrs. Patton seconded the motion, which the minutes state "passed 5-0."
The appointment followed closed-session interviews earlier in the meeting. The minutes also note that Stransky was "sworn in during this meeting." No public comments were registered for the meeting. The board then recessed into a second closed session later in the day before completing other agenda items and adjourning at 1:39 p.m.
