Claudia Mordecai presented the Financial Report and informed the board that "there were no Related Party Transactions." District staff referenced the 2023-2206 Safety and Security Audit Report and noted a Safety and Security meeting scheduled in July. Dottie Sullivan reported that CISD did not apply for the waiver associated with House Bill 2 as it relates to employment of certified teachers and that a letter of commitment is posted on the district website.

Claudia Mordecai and Stephen Williams reviewed master-schedule progress, teacher movement, testing scores, and plans for July 21–22 professional development days for the junior–senior high and elementary campuses. Bluebonnet Reading language arts materials for the elementary campus were recorded as delivered.
