Separately, the commission opened and closed a public hearing on an agreement with a Central Community Park non‑profit to construct and maintain the park; no public commenters spoke on the park agreement, and commissioners approved the resolution authorizing the construction and maintenance agreement. Staff noted the agreement contemplates a future option: if the non‑profit model is not successful, a special service district with assessments could be considered later, but no special service district will be created at this time.
