At 7:15 p.m. the Board of Trustees opened a public hearing on an application to remove trees at 1976 Knollwood Lane. Superintendent Tony Toscano presented the application and explained the proposed removal plan.
After no public input, the hearing was closed at 7:17 p.m. The board approved the removal of 72 trees subject to two conditions: (1) a tree remediation plan that must be approved by the Building Department and (2) an escrow deposit of $5,000 to secure remediation (Resolution 26-92). The motion was made by Trustee Brian Fagen, seconded by Trustee Scialli and carried unanimously.
