County says sports-park turf field on schedule; state grant will fund ADA playground

On playgrounds, a presenter said, "We received $500,000 grant, from the state, to redo that whole playground, out there at the sports park and make it fully accessible to everybody in the community." Park staff also described pavilion and ranger-station design work and a planned pavilion rebuild; those projects are in design and under contract negotiation.
