Commissioners acknowledge deputy hire and resignation in tax office

The court also recorded the resignation of Sharon Marburger from the tax assessor-collector's office effective Aug. 9 and thanked her for her years of service.
The judge explained the county's hiring practice has changed since 2020: as long as budgeted positions exist, departments may fill them without court action, though the court is notified when hires occur. The judge encouraged departments to bring hires to the court if they wish public notice.
