Hula Ice owner raises safety, power concerns over proposed Route 45 trailer spot

Kasey Wickiser, owner of local shaved-ice business Hula Ice, told the City Council she has historically parked her trailer in the city parking lot but was told that space may not be available this year. "City Clerk Evans recommended moving over to Rt. #45 south of Casey’s General Store; however, I have safety and lighting concerns," Wickiser said.
Wickiser also said she is worried about the expense of moving the electric meter to a new location. Council members asked her to obtain a quote for meter relocation; the council agreed to discuss the matter again after she provides the estimated cost. The discussion occurred during the public-comment portion of the April 28 meeting.
