"The new price after amending the number of IPERL meters to 450, software, installation, and online support was $272,600," the minutes state. Commissioner Edwards moved to approve the purchase and Commissioner Williams seconded; the council approved the expenditure 4-0.
Council previously approved the meters in principle at an earlier meeting, and this vote finalized the dollar amount for procurement. Staff were directed to proceed with contract execution and implementation steps consistent with city procurement policies.
