UN warns funding shortfalls and access limits are deepening Sudan’s humanitarian crisis

He added that funding gaps are limiting assistance, noting "This year's humanitarian appeal for Sudan is about 41% funded with $1,200,000,000 received against the $2,900,000,000 required." The briefing included repeated calls for donors to provide additional funding and for parties to allow rapid, safe and sustained humanitarian access.
