Centerville ISD accepts superintendent resignation and authorizes posting for replacement

The board accepted Carole Dickey’s resignation effective June 30, 2026, and reassigned her to the position of Superintendent Emeritus effective April 7 through June 30, 2026. The board authorized the Board President to effectuate the separation agreement.
The board also voted to take necessary steps to post the district’s Superintendent of Schools position and delegated authority to the Interim Superintendent to advertise the vacancy on the district website. Both actions were approved unanimously when the board returned from executive session.
