Superintendent recognizes HR and principals; reports slight enrollment decline

Superintendent David Tarver opened the recognition portion of the Oct. 13 meeting by reading a proclamation issued by Governor Greg Abbott in observance of Human Resources Appreciation Month and commending Joanna Mitchell, Sheila Crabtree and Natalie Griffin for their work in the Human Resources Department. He also read a proclamation for Principal Appreciation Month and named principals Rhonda Mack, Jacy Roach, Nichole Gray, Eric Rivas and Shanna Spillers for their leadership.
Tarver also reviewed the district's enrollment report and noted a slight decline in overall enrollment while commending campuses for maintaining strong attendance. The recognitions and enrollment update were presented as part of the Superintendent's report; no formal board action was required.
