Council directs staff to draft RFP for microtransit options after public support and mixed votes

Public commenters Darron Jurajda and Karin Wind registered support. Mayor Jim Penniman-Morin moved to proceed with drafting an RFP exploring options one and two and a yearly option with annual renewals; Councilmember Kevin Harris seconded. The motion passed 4-0-2 with Councilmember Heather Jefts absent and Councilmembers Bobbi Hutchinson and Mel Kirkland abstaining.
