The Cedar Park City Council approved a resolution Oct. 24 authorizing the purchase of technology replacement equipment budgeted in the FY2025 Vehicle and Equipment Services Fund in an amount not to exceed $1,685,718.
Ilija Preocanin, assistant director of Information Services, reviewed the fund and the replacement equipment needs. Councilmember Mel Kirkland moved to approve the resolution; Mayor Pro Tem Anne Duffy seconded the motion, which passed 6-0 and is recorded as Resolution R015.24.10.24.H3. The resolution also authorizes the auction or sale of equipment to be retired or salvaged.
