The council voted unanimously Oct. 24 to amend the Future Land Use Plan for about 3.75 acres at 1401 Toro Grande Boulevard from Industrial/Manufacturing to Regional Office/Retail/Commercial.
Andreina Dávila-Quintero summarized the staff review; a representative from Mahoney Engineering explained the request, which would allow two additional sand volleyball courts and associated walkways behind the existing property. Councilmember Bobbi Hutchinson moved approval, Councilmember Eric Boyce seconded and the motion passed 6-0.
