The Mineral Wells Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Oct. 13, 2025 meeting, covering monthly financial reports, utility reports and prior meeting minutes. Trustee Joe Ruelas moved for approval and Trustee Donna Henderson seconded; the motion passed 7-0.
The board also accepted an estimated $5,000 Parker Grant designated for the district's CTE Welding Program. Maria Jones moved to accept the grant; the motion passed with a recorded tally of 6-0-1, with Trustee Scott Aaron recorded as abstaining. Separately, the board approved acceptance of a donation of tools for the Automotive Technology Program valued between $1,500 and $2,000; that motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
