Community Development Director Curtis Poole and City Administrator Bryce Haderlie told the council a design committee will start meeting weekly to lead programming and design work for a new City Hall and a redesign of Hogan Park.
"Starting next week a design Park/City Hall design committee will be meeting with Method Studios and Hogan Construction to begin the process of the new city and redesign of Hogan Park," Poole said. The team will focus on programming, design, guaranteed maximum price determination and project completion planning. Curtis Poole will act as project manager and the Mayor and two council members (Larrabee and Jones) will be part of the limited design team, with other departments and community stakeholders engaged as needed.
The weekly meeting cadence (Thursdays at 11 a.m.) is intended to streamline decisions and maintain momentum. Council will review and approve major steps at each stage; staff emphasized that the design team is limited to improve efficiency but that broader input will be solicited when necessary.
