At its April 9 Facilities and Safety Committee meeting, staff reported an estimate of $62,000 for repairs to the district’s tennis courts and said amphitheater and playground repairs are proceeding. Park Supervisor Leslie Hofelich said the Community Center solar-system issue was resolved after contacting PG&E and their contractor addressed an automatic transfer switch installation.
Praxis Architects consultant Brian Grant said he would connect with Greg Gillis about sharing costs for a recent skatepark repair invoice; the committee received multiple facility estimates including for a railing at Lightwave Café and ongoing fabrication of amphitheater barn doors. The committee also discussed a potential CARPD grant opportunity that could fund tennis-court or skatepark projects.
