Administrator Marina McTaggart reported that the county has sent Form 700 filing requests to directors and "requested that board members file as soon as possible." She outlined upcoming compliance requirements: ethics and sexual-harassment training scheduled for new members and a Brown Act training session she attended that was offered through the district's insurer, CAPRI.
McTaggart said Brooke Maury and David Gatlin are due to complete ethics training within their first year on the board and that a recording of CARPD's new board member training is available for any director who wishes to participate. She also described an internal scheduling change in operations: employee Nick Thayer will work the afternoon shift while Leslie Hofelich continues to work the morning shift to allow for gate lockup and continuous staff presence across facilities.
Directors received the compliance and training updates as information; no formal board action was required at the Feb. 10 meeting.
