District submits per-capita grant invoice for solar work and confirms beach wheelchair donation

The Monte Rio Recreation and Park District reported that it has submitted a per-capita grant invoice for solar installations planned for Creekside and the skatepark. Marina McTaggart reported the per-capita invoice amount as $118,656 and said the invoice has been submitted for payment.
McTaggart also told the board the district received a $3,000 check from Orange County Coastkeeper for the purchase of a floating beach wheelchair; meeting materials and an external newsletter item acknowledged the district as a recipient of the grant. Staff said additional pictures requested by OGALS to complete the final payment processing were submitted prior to the board meeting.
Board members did not take any formal vote on the grants at the Feb. 10 session; staff will track final payment processing and report back when funds are received and posted.
