Seaside & Master Drainage project to start; irrigation change order approved up to $15,000

District Engineer Charlie Krebs reported the revised scope of work for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project, saying the revision preserves the original intent while making future changes easier; MRI expects work to commence in two to three weeks.
Mr. Krebs also presented ancillary irrigation costs: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and about $1,300 each to raise seven to eight irrigation heads. The board approved an Irrigation Concepts change order in a not‑to‑exceed amount of $15,000 (unanimous) to cover those repairs and adjustments. Staff will monitor expenditures and report completion to the board.
