River Ridge accepts resignation of Supervisor James Gilman and outlines appointment process

Mrs. Adams presented Mr. Gilman’s resignation letter and the board discussed outreach to fill the unexpired term. Because the appointment will fill Seat 1 rather than be resolved by an election, the board asked Mr. Long and The Meadows’ POA manager to e-blast residents about the vacancy, candidate qualification requirements, and to request resumes or letters of interest ahead of the next meeting. Mrs. Adams noted that administration of the oath and required ethics training materials will be provided to any appointee.
