Operations Manager Shane Willis presented the proposals and the board debated cost and timing. The motion to install the zombie box passed 3–2, with Mr. Schultz, Mr. Twombly and Mr. Merrill voting in favor and Mr. Mountford and Mr. Blumenthal dissenting. Board members instructed staff to revisit the relocation proposals during Fiscal Year 2026 budget planning.
Board discussion included the additional 125 feet of electrical work in the Bentley Electric proposal and a suggestion to review installing a zombie box as a lower‑cost interim solution. Staff will report back with cost comparisons when the FY2026 budget is developed.
