He also reported that audit firm Zumbahlen & Eyth submitted a letter resigning from Village auditing services effective April 30, 2025 and recommended consulting the village attorney on the process to procure a replacement auditor.
The board did not provide additional details in the minutes about which line items the supplemental appropriation will cover. Trustee Neuman said a budget hearing will be scheduled at the next meeting and asked that budget requests be submitted to the Treasurer.
The motion to adopt Ordinance 2025-06 was recorded as moved by Trustee Neuman and seconded by Trustee Morris; all listed trustees voted yes, and the ordinance passed.
