The Bennet City Council reviewed a revised Personnel Policy at its May 11 meeting and asked outside counsel to add language addressing on-call pay and hours.
Deputy Attorney Blaser summarized changes "that were made by Jena, Solheim Law Office, with suggestions from the personnel committee and city clerk." Council members discussed including a section to "include a section addressing on-call pay and hours," and directed Solheim's office to make the updates. The policy is scheduled for further review at the June meeting.
The personnel committee and the city clerk participated in drafting suggestions that were incorporated by Solheim's office. The council did not vote to adopt the policy at the May 11 meeting; it set the document for additional revision and a subsequent council review next month.
