Council Member Dan Zieg moved, and Jesse Schmidt seconded, a motion to approve new hours of: "Monday, Wednesday, Friday 4:00 pm 8:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm." The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Schmidt, Simmons, Zieg and Buck recorded as voting yes.
Mayor Ryan Cheney introduced the item during the meeting at Bennet City Hall and the council discussed water usage and conditions at the splash pads before the vote. The change takes effect as the council directed and will be reflected in park scheduling and staff duties.
