Bryant said the officers "went above and beyond normal expectations" and their actions "reflect not only your strong investigative abilities, but also your deep compassion and commitment to preserving life." The chief named Detective Nixon and Officer Anthony Jones among the officers recognized; the letters also acknowledged other responding officers whose efforts helped secure a peaceful resolution and reunite vulnerable individuals with family supports. Mayor Williams and council members thanked the department and noted the community's appreciation for the officers' work.
