The board accepted Brodner's bid and tabled a separate alternate item to replace two damaged mast arms for additional consideration after further investigation.
Resident questions at the meeting addressed how the mast arms were damaged (accidents) and whether the township could recover costs; supervisors said responsible parties were not identified and that similar incidents (e.g., guiderail strikes) sometimes leave the township to absorb costs.
