Shelton later moved to remove the fence from the project scope; Chris Cochran seconded, and the board again voted unanimously to remove the fence. The board also approved a revision to the original engineering agreement to bring it into compliance with IEPA guidelines after Eddie Davison moved and Jim Shelton seconded that motion.
Board members additionally noted that Nextlink must be given coordinates for a new tower so the company can move equipment and update its agreement with the village, a logistical step tied to the infrastructure changes.
