Boulder Cemetery Advisory Committee elects officers, renames Co-Chair to Vice Chair

The Boulder Cemetery Advisory Committee elected new officers during its Jan. 19 meeting. Patricia Lewis nominated LaDana Hintz as chair and Rosemary Perna as secretary; Rhonda Craft was selected as vice chair after the committee accepted a recommendation to rename the 'Co-Chair' position to 'Vice Chair.' The motions passed 'with 5 aye votes.'
Committee members said the change was intended to avoid confusion in future meetings. Drew Dawson, attending as City Council President, suggested the title change during discussion and the committee asked Perna to update the bylaws accordingly. The committee then approved the revised bylaws as written by Patricia Lewis with the single position-title change; Perna moved to approve and the motion carried 5-0.
The committee set its next special meeting for Feb. 17 at 4:00 p.m. and concluded routine organizational business before moving to fee and operations items later in the session.
