Council approves pay applications for water system work, including drilling of new well

The City of Boulder approved two pay applications Oct. 21 tied to its Phase 1, Schedule A water-system improvements.
City Administrator Brian Bullock described Pay App #5 as covering the Well 2 building and electrical work and site work for Well 4; Councilor Mike Taylor moved to approve the pay application and the motion carried with four aye votes.
Bullock also described a pay application from O'Keefe Drilling for drilling and development of Well 5 and said one more pay application would follow for testing. Taylor moved to approve the O'Keefe Drilling pay application and the motion carried with four aye votes.
Council did not discuss additional funding needs during the approvals; both motions passed with a recorded outcome of four ayes and one absence.
