Staff member (S1) told the committee that the district’s EEA video surveillance policy is being rescinded and replaced by a new ECAF policy; the rescission cannot occur until ECAF is in the board packet for first reading. S1 said the current EEA "is being replaced by ECAF" and predicted the rescission would appear on an upcoming board meeting agenda.
Committee members had no substantive questions in this meeting. Staff said the rescission and replacement are procedural steps and that the committee will be informed when ECAF appears for first reading at the board, after which EEA can be formally rescinded.
