The Waterville City Council approved a motion to obtain appraisals for City Hall, the Fire Hall and the Police Station to inform discussion about potential disposition of those properties.
Administrator Teresa Hill said Treasurer Jorgensen obtained quotes and "the lowest bid was for about $6,000.00 with a 30-day turnaround period." The council discussed direction and approved the appraisal quote (motion by Wollin, seconded by Potter). Motion Carried 5-0. The appraisal is intended to provide a market valuation to guide any further decision-making about the three buildings.
