Commissioner Munoz said the Commission repeatedly hears that the Police Guild prefers the three-member structure used in nearby Airway Heights and Battle Ground and asked that commissioners’ position statements be delivered to the City Council for its consideration.
The commission did not take a formal vote on changing its size at the meeting. Instead, Campbell asked the secretary to forward the commissioners’ position statements to the City Council for consideration of the ordinance.
