The Lake Oswego School District board voted to appoint two student representatives for the 2026–27 school year.
Lakeridge High School recommended Leila Raquel May Chung; administrators said she "has served on the Lake Oswego school district's culture of belonging committee for the past 2 years" and co‑founded the Oregon Youth Leadership Alliance. Lake Oswego High School recommended Spencer Andrews, described as "motivated, highly engaged" and graduating early to pursue college while remaining committed to student leadership. A board member moved and the board approved both appointments by voice vote.
Board members welcomed the new representatives and noted plans to develop a vetting/support system for future student representatives.
