Board approves Clackamas ESD local service plan; district received millions in services
Summary
A Clackamas County ESD representative presented the ESD’s required local service plan for fiscal year 26–27; the board approved the plan after comments that Lake Oswego received more than $6,400,000 in services and about $2,400,000 in direct revenue last year.
A Clackamas County Education Service District representative (introduced as Mary Midway) presented the ESD’s annual local service plan, explained its statutory purpose and reviewed a fiscal summary of services the ESD provides to Lake Oswego.
"Lake Oswego, there was more than $6,400,000 of value of total services, which is up about $500,000 from the previous year," the presenter said, and added that about $2,400,000 came to Lake Oswego in direct revenue (up roughly $150,000). Director Lupton (Speaker 9) moved to approve the local service plan, Speaker 14 seconded, and the board voted to adopt the plan.
The presenter said the plan is required by law, covers resolution-funded services and contract services (early learning, special education, technology, mental-health supports) and that packets with more details would be provided to the district.
