Parent warns board about RF exposure from Lakeridge High School cell tower

"I live at 17901 Stafford right across the street from Lake Ridge High School's baseball field where there is a, cell tower 50 feet off the ground and a 100 feet from our bedroom window, which poses a health concern," the speaker said, describing planned RF testing and citing studies including a World Health Organization classification and reports he reviewed. He referenced the WHO’s classification of RF as a Group 2B agent and said other reports he read suggested federal limits differ from some international guidance.
Board members acknowledged the comment and said testing data will inform next steps; no board action was taken at the meeting. The commenter asked the board to consider potential long-duration exposures for children who attend or live near the site when the testing results are presented to the district.
