Waterville council approves consent agenda including $1.38 million in disbursements

The Waterville City Council approved its consent agenda at the Jan. 6 meeting, voting 5-0 to accept minutes from Dec. 2 and Dec. 23, 2025, and to authorize total disbursements of $1,383,196.29. The expenditure summary listed electronic transfers of $65,001.37; payroll checks totaling $107,422.27; and computer-generated checks and overtime of $1,210,772.65.
The consent package also included resolutions accepting donations from the Waterville Lions Club, David Schwirtz and Hardware Hank; designation of Frandsen Bank–Waterville Branch, Elysian Bank, AIM, the 4M Fund, Northland Securities/Northland Trust Services, Robert W. Baird & Co., and US Bank as depositories; appointment of Abdo Solutions as financial auditors; and adoption of the 2026 fee schedule. Councilmember Dave Wollin moved to approve the consent agenda and the motion carried 5-0.
