Planning staff presented a stack of comprehensive‑plan amendments and rezoning petitions; most applicants requested continuances to September 9 in Dade City (items P62, P63, P66–P69 among others), and the board granted those continuances.
Item P70 (a commercial rezoning in South Central Pasco) was on consent and approved without comment. Item P71, a rezoning petition for a master plan unit development proposing up to 300 multifamily units and 30,000 square feet of commercial use on approximately 18.63 acres, was discussed, no public speaker appeared and the board gave approval consistent with staff recommendation.
Staff noted P64 is the first of two public hearings with an adoption hearing set for 09/22/2026 in New Port Richey; multiple zoning items will next appear on September hearing agendas and applicants were notified of the relocated venues and times.
