District reports 96.6% graduation rate for class of 2025

Mister Bailey presented the slides and said the district had "20 non graduates for those 3 schools out of 593 total, which makes for 96.6% grad rate, which is an increase of 1.6% from the year before." He reviewed three-school aggregation rules and explained distinctions among district diplomas, state diplomas and modified diplomas for students whose coursework or assessments have been adjusted.
Board members asked about subgroup counts (special education, ELL and students experiencing poverty) and the presenter noted that small subgroup sizes can make year-to-year percentage swings appear large when only one or two students are involved. The presentation also included a three-year trend illustrating overall graduation performance.
